자세한 내용은 파란 구글 트렌드 링크를 누르면 볼 수 있습니다. 인터넷 검색과 언론 노출 트렌드일뿐 지지도나 영향력과는 무관하다고 할 수 있다. 제목은 3인이지만 사실 심상정과 이정희 후보를 포함한 5인의 트렌드 추이다. 빅 3을 제외한 두 후보는 주요 후보로서 신문이나 사람들의 관심에서 멀어져있다고 봐야한다. --11/09

5. 문단작성
 5.1 주제의 제시
  --> 두괄식 구성은 독자가 글을 쉽게 이해하는데 도움이 된다. 첫째와 둘째 문장에 주제를 제시하는 것이 좋다.
 물론 독자를 설득하기 위해 결론을 끝까지 미뤘다가 당위성이 충분히 입증된 후에 마지막에 제시하는 방법도 있다.

 5.2 통일성
  --> 하나의 문단은 하나의 주제만을 다룬다.

 5.3 응집성
  --> 문장들이 제각기 떨어지지 않고 뭉치게 하는 문장간 전환의 문제에 주의해야 한다.
  또한 주어+동사의 기본구조가 반복되는 단문은 독자를 쉽게 지루하게 만든다.
  흐름이 유려하고 재미있게 표현하는 방법은 문장 구조에 변화를 주는 것이다. 분사구, 전치사구, 수동태, 어두의 부사, 의문문 등이 문장의 선두에서 전환 역할을 해서 글의 흐름을 살릴 수 있다.
ex)
 i) in regard to, with regard to, in this respect, on closer examination
 ii) specifically, to be exact, more exactly
 iii) as has been noted earlier, as was discussed above, as will be argued later
 iv) in any event, to some(a great, a large, a certain) extent
 v) with the exception of, as is the often(frequently, also, common) the case

  5.4.1 연대기적 기술

   5.4.3 대비.대조식 기술
    i) however, on the other hand, less than, conversely, similarly, similar to, likewise, also, in contrast to, more than, as ... as, just as, is different from, whereas, while, in comparison, by comparison with, compared with
    ii) A sharp contrast is drawn between A and B
A is in sharp contrast with B
A contrasts sharply with B.
The very opposite(exact reverse) is observed in this experiment.
There is a significant disparity between A and B.

   5.4.4 문단의 기능적 역할
   --> 첫 문단은 장 전체의 방향을 설정하거나, 전 장과 새로운 장을 연결하는 전환 역할을 하며, 마지막 문단은 글 전체를 요약해 결론짓는 역할을 한다.

4. 문장쓰기 : 흐름살리기
 4.1 문장 길이
  - 문장이 너무 길면 처음과 끝의 논리가 흐려져서 핵심이 모호해진다.
  - 짧은 문장은 침묵과 공포의 힘을 강조할 수 있다.
  - 반면, 단순 사실의 기술로 구성된 짧은 문장의 나열은 조잡해지기 쉽다.
  - 관련 문장끼리 결합하면 관련성이 구체화되고 조잡함이 줄어든다.
ex) In the method, we use graphic hardware for a generation of digitally reconstructed radiographs (DRRs). This technique is over 200 times faster than software rendering.

  - 리듬감있게 문장을 배열하면 같은 내용도 읽는 재미가 달라진다.

 4.2 문장의 주제 
  - 복잡한 개념일수록 문장 하나에 하나의 주장만 실어 차근차근 설명하도록 한다.
ex) The proposed system is required to alleviate the increase in demand by using the microcomputer as a stand-alone entry system with all the necessary graphics and software capabilities to remove the burden of data entry from the present system, CADDS.
--> The proposed system is required to alleviate the increase in demand. The system will do that by removing the burden of data entry from the present system, CADDS. This is accomplished by using the microcomputer as a stand-alone data entry system. The microcomputer has all of the graphics and software capabilities required to implement this concept.

 4.3 문장의 단어 배열
  - 독자가 쉽고 빠르게 파악할 수 있는 순서로 단어를 배열해야 한다.
   4.3.1 주어와 주제
    0 주어가 주제다.
   4.3.2 어구의 길이와 순서
   ex) That we are in the midst of a pollution crisis in obvious.
--> It is obvious that we are in the midst of a pollution crisis.
   4.3.3 구정보를 먼저 서술하고 신정보를 나중에 배치해서 구정보와 신정보의 연결관계를 만들어라.
   ex) The word is familiar and concise. A number of vivid images are activated by it in our minds.
--> The word is familiar and concise. It activates in our minds a number of vivid images.
